Korent SMS consent and messaging program
How a customer opts in
- The customer opens a rental business's public Korent storefront.
- At checkout, the customer enters a mobile number.
- The customer may voluntarily select a separate SMS checkbox. It is unchecked by default and is not required to complete a purchase.
- Korent records the customer's choice with the booking and sends texts only when consent is present.

Who sends the messages
The rental business named on the storefront is the sender for its customers. Korent provides the software and delivery infrastructure. Every default message begins with “Korent |” and identifies the rental business the customer booked with. For example:
Korent | Sunshine Party Rentals: Order #1234 is confirmed. Reply STOP to opt out.
Message purpose and frequency
Messages are transactional and may include:
- booking confirmations and cancellation notices;
- payment or deposit reminders and receipts;
- delivery scheduling, en-route, and completion updates; and
- customer-care replies about the active rental.
Message frequency varies with each active rental and is typically 1–8 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Korent does not use this opt-in for promotional or unrelated marketing texts.
Opt-out, help, and privacy
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. A customer may still complete a booking without SMS consent. Mobile numbers, consent records, and message data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use.
